Levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced
We offer three levels of learning of Portuguese for foreigners that vary according to linguistic competence such as speech, writing and comprehension.
Before the private or online classes, the student is going to take a proficiency test to know what is the best level and material to be utilized.
The classes can be intensive: 5 classes/week; semi-intensive: 2-3 classes/week in sequence or once a week in isolation. The classes must have a minimum of 1,5h and are organized according to the availability of our students.
– Basic (A1-A2):
ideal for students that do not know the language or that only know some words and cannot form phrasal structures.
Basic grammar, initial oral practices in Portuguese and basic vocabulary.
– Basic for Hispanic speakers:
ideal for Spanish or Italian natives or people with fluency in these languages. Fast learning with focus in the cognitive interactions that possess similarities or that differentiate the languages and the separation of “Portuñol” from Portuguese.
Basic grammar, extensive vocabulary between the two languages, basic-intermediary oral practices.
– Intermediary (B1, B2):
Ideal for students that already communicate in Portuguese but do not have control of the language yet. Also indicated for students that finished the basic level of Carioca Languages.
Grammar and oral practices of intermediary level with a higher level of complexity. Reading of more complex texts, videos without subtitles and cognitive interactions of speech, comprehension and writing that demand higher linguistic complexity.
– Advanced (C1, C2):
Ideal for students that are able to communicate without much problem but that do not possess a degree of linguistic complexity. Do not understand linguistic abstractions or subjectivity.
Grammar and advanced practices with high degree of complexity and linguistic abstractions. Understanding of the subjectivities of long texts, oral interactions that demand linguistic control and also the writing of complex texts.
